Fragrance tools for formula planning, batch costing and labels
Work from formula percentages to a batch worksheet. Check the ingredient quantities, estimate material cost and prepare the next piece of production paperwork.
- Perfume Maker Studio ↗
Scale ingredient percentages to a batch weight and export a worksheet.
- Formula Cost Calculator ↗
Estimate material cost for a fragrance formula.
- IFRA Ingredient Checker ↗
Screen ingredients against the dataset and category shown in the tool.
- Bill of Materials Cost Builder ↗
Include components in a product cost worksheet.
- Fragrance Label Generator ↗
Draft a label from product, manufacturer and ingredient details.
- Batch Yield and Loss Calculator ↗
Work through batch quantities and expected process loss.
Start with the weights
A 10% ingredient in a 1,000 g batch weighs 100 g. The percentages should total 100 before you use the worksheet as a weighing list. Perfume Maker Studio shows the percentage total and calculates each weight.
Our formula scaling guide works through a three-row example from a 10 g trial to a 1 kg batch. It also explains why grams and millilitres cannot be swapped without density information.
Keep cost and ingredient screening separate
A balanced formula and a useful cost estimate do not establish whether a finished product is suitable for its intended use. The IFRA checker is a separate screening step. Read its dataset version, category selection and limitations, then verify the relevant supplier documents and current official IFRA Standards.
Move from worksheet to product paperwork
Use the bill of materials worksheet for items beyond the fragrance ingredients, such as bottles and packaging. Use the label generator to draft the product information once those details are known.
A generated label is a draft. Required wording depends on the product and destination market. Check it against the applicable requirements before printing a production run.
